Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

At Neuweg, we are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking and ensuring that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Organisational Structure

Neuweg is a leader in the engineering and manufacturing sector, specialising in precision components such as bearings and related mechanical parts. We operate globally with a significant presence in over 30 countries and employ thousands of individuals worldwide.

Our Commitment

Neuweg acknowledges the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers of goods and services to the organisation. We are committed to ensuring that our supply chains and any part of our own business do not engage in, or support, slavery or human trafficking.

Due Diligence Processes

  • Risk Assessment: We perform risk assessments to determine the parts of our business and supply chains where there is a risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Supplier Audits: We conduct audits on our suppliers to evaluate their compliance with our standards for modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Contracting: We include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labor, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, in our contracts with suppliers and we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

Training and Awareness

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to relevant members of staff. All directors have been briefed on the subject.
